Retail Ecommerce Specialist (Amazon DE focus)

Summary of Position:
As the Retail Ecommerce Specialist with focus in Amazon Germany, you will partner with the respective sales leaders and key account managers across international markets to execute brand, category, and product-level Ecommerce plans for multiple regions and languages. This includes improving our product presence through item and content maintenance, rich content/video uploads, and analysis to maximise the customer business plans for Amazon. You will be as strategic as much as you are tactical, collaborating with sales colleagues, making recommendations that will improve our presence, performance, and suggest new ideas to test and learn innovations across the Amazon ecosystem.
· Partner with the Brand and Creative Services Teams to plan and upload new content that’s fully optimised for Amazon
· Utilise additional assets to build rich content (e.g. video, additional images, paragraph copy, etc…)
· Support promotional campaigns by being the go between Sales, Brand and Creative Services teams specifying digital asset and copy requirements
· Work closely with Amazon and the International Ecommerce Sales Team to follow identified best practices and processes to improve presence on the Amazon platform
· Engage and educate teams in best practices on Amazon, sourced from retailers and/or channel partners recommendations, industry research, internal and competitive analysis
· Expert for the Amazon Ecosystem – staying on top of developments, making recommendations, and testing hypothesis
· Collaboration with global teammates on Amazon best practices, optimising go-to market strategies for multiple regions
· Reconcile duplicate or obsolete product listings to optimise the catalogue
· Guide and coordinate the measurement of content enhancement executed on Amazon platform including new product launches and page content audits
· Customer facing, supporting the Sales Team(s) in the respective markets by participating in recurring customer meetings
· Provide input, insight, and recommendations to global team(s) working to improve asset development, storage, and syndication
· German speaker required.
· 2+ years of experience in Ecommerce/Digital Marketing or Content Management
· Experience and success working in a cross-functional organisation, and a global mindset
· Understanding of Ecommerce platforms and third-party digital marketing applications
· Experience with web analytics and analysing customer trends understanding the varying KPIs to measure for campaigns, platforms, overall Ecommerce health
· Experience in building and/or advising on digital strategy
· Experience in sales, trade marketing, or customer facing role is a plus
· Experience working with Amazon and understanding how to optimise brands, categories, and products across the Amazon Ecosystem is preferred but not required
· Based in Dundalk, Ireland with ability to travel internationally
